WHY Motorguide over Minn Kota?
Although Minn Kota makes a decent trolling motors they never run as strong as a Motorguide- example- A 55 LB Motorguide will pull at the advertised "55 pounds", whereas, a 55 LB Minn Kota will pull around 50 LB's.
You need all the "advertised" power you can get when your trying to pull against a tidal current.....esp with a heavy boat like a Key Largo.
(How do I KNOW about the Motorguide/Minn Kota??? I sold them in my store and had customers do actual tests on the water. Also, I did a test of my own on the water once.....)
You will need at least a 71LB thrust to pull your boat with "confidence".

My laptop freezes and doesn't respond after waking from standby?
I had my Sager NP9262 for exactly two weeks, and it froze about 5 times on me. Three times after standby mode. Two time just using the internet browser and my programs (I did lose my work).
My specs are 3.0 GHz quad core, 9800M GTX nvidia, 4GB RAM.
Why does it randomly freeze and stay non responsive?
And when i play Crysis at high setting I play great but at 1920X1200 resolution it lags???

your system can also get stuck/freeze/becum slow becuz of viruses ..so update your anti virus programme daily...

Personal Watercraft are typically designed for the rider to either sit or stand on. Some are designed for one person, but can carry two; and now they are made in models for three and four people to ride on. They have become more popular in recent years.
Original models were stand-up watercraft, designed for one person. Now, they are a means of entertainment and water transportation capable of holding the whole family.

After you run a jet ski polaris are you suposed to run the water out of them before loading them??
I was told that after running my jet skis I just purchased that i'm supposed to idle the water out of them for at least 10-15 sec???
Once out of the water start the ski and crack the throttle a few times to get the rpms up. Just starting it up does nothing because there will not be enough pressure in the waterbox to expel the water that is left in it. Starting a ski outside of the water will not cause damage as long as it is not run for more than ten or fifteen seconds.
If it is a 2stroke when you hit the kill switch keep pumping the throttle as it dies this will load a bunch unburned oil into the cylinders to prevent corrosion and keep things nice and lubricated.
A broken down boiler or noisy radiators that need regular bleeding usually indicate that your central heating system needs a good clean.

How to flush a motorcycle engine after a water leakage in the oil problem ?
I just fixed my suzuki gsx-R 750 from a water leakage into to engine oil. Now I have to flush the engine. I've seen in supermarkets that they sell some kinda Engine Oil, that contains kerosene and other things ? Is it ok to use this, or just flush it with some cheap oil ??

I personally wouldn't use it. the motor oil also lubricates the clutch and any additives could damage the clutch. i would put new oil in run it for a few miles then change the oil again.

hooked the battery up backwards on my pol 96 slt 700 pcw. when starting there is a click with no crank. why?
charged a new battery and connected it backwards to my Polaris 96 700 slt pwc. When connected backwards it made a humming sound. When connected forwards now it just does a deep clunck click sound when starter is pressed. Checked the battery it still has 12v.
Did you try and start the car with the battery wired up wrong? You could've killed the starter or a polarity circiut breaker. You could've killed th battery even tho it gives a reading. My advice would be an auto electrician for a diagnostic test.

The water purification process used by a treatment facility varies. In order to explain water purification in its entirety, visual aids are helpful, but as with many other scientific procedures, you can think of it as a circle. Where to begin on that circle is difficult to decide.
Let's start with a brief explanation of why we need a water purification process. In old movies, you would see a cowboy fill his canteen from a mountain stream. The stream could have been fed by a glacier, a spring or other groundwater, as well as regular rains. There were far less people and far fewer environmental pollutants at that time, so as long as the stream was moving rapidly, he could count on rocks, gravel and gravity to "clean". You could think of it as the "natural" water purification process.
That stopped working for us a long time ago, because so many different bacteria, parasites, viruses and protozoa thrive in above ground water-supplies. They can cause waterborne diseases like cryptosporidiosis, Giardiasis, typhoid and dysentery, with symptoms ranging from a stomach ache to death.
For many years, groundwater, from wells or springs was safe, because the ground itself contributed to the water purification process, by filtering debris and other contaminants. Now, even they require testing before they can be considered safe for human consumption.
To explain water purification, as it currently exists, we begin with disinfection processes that remove the majority of the disease causing micro-organisms mentioned above. Typically, chlorination is used on raw sewage, before it is treated and returned to a river or ocean. It is also used as source-water enters a facility to be prepared for drinking purposes and again, at the end of the water purification process before it enters the pipes and tanks.
Now, take a step back and look at the circle we mentioned when we began to explain water purification. Rain hits the ground, some is absorbed by the soil, some enters streams and lakes, and some evaporates and returns to the atmosphere. Treatment facilities pump water from reservoirs and lakes. They clean it up some. It enters a home, where it may be further cleansed if the homeowner has his own filtration system. People drink it and use it for cooking. Some ends up in the sewer as wastewater.

Why does the 350 chevy in my I.O. boat still run hot after extensive work?
I have run this 26 ft. raw water cooled boat for years with no thermestate getting an engine temp. of 150 when running at a full speed of 25 mph at 4200rpm. Last summer the boat ran slow for the last 4 times out because of what turned out to be a fouled carborator. I was glad to find full power restored this spring with carborator now professionally checked out but reinstalled by me. (Idle air/fuel settings done by the book after installation) The problem is the engine now runs hot (160 at idle up to 190 at 2000 rpm) That gives me 8 mph. A higher rpm will cook the engine. I have checked the temp. sensor and gague for accurace, changed outdrive Pump Impeller, cleaned manafolds and risors, installed a new engine circulating pump, varified proper timing and timing advance, checked compression and inspected Spark Plugs which looked too clean so I rechecked carborator settings incase they were too lean and checked for leaks in carborator gasket and intake manefold.
