Knuckle Blaster-a Million Volt Stun Gun You Can Wear
Getting hit by somebody wearing a knuckle duster is going to hurt at the best of times, so I dread to think what one that packs a 950,000 volt punch will feel like.
The Knuckle Blaster Stun Gun is intended as a self defense device for people who jog in risky areas (and if it’s a really bad area you could always wear one of these on each hand as well).
Before shocking any potential muggers you should probably ask them if they have a pace maker, then again nah, just knee them and follow up with 950,000 volts to their body.
This stun gun is a 950,000 volt beauty designed to give you a punch with POWer. A great tool in crime prevention.
This patented device has a soft rubber skin and is sized to accommodate all hand sizes.
A safety switch is built in and accessible to your thumb. Once you grab the Knuckle Blaster stun gun you can flip off the safety and fire with the same hand. No need to use two hands.
As you may know stun guns temporarily incapacitate targets by sending a high voltage but low amperage charge of electricity to the nervous system causing a disruption in the body's neurological impulses.
They control muscle movement and overwhelms the neuromuscular system causing the victim to lose balance. It also causes temporary partial paralysis and depletes the body's system of blood sugar (energy) making the body too weak to move.
It takes just seconds but can immobilize a person for up to 10-15 minutes. The attacker just does not have any energy left.
They cause no long term damage. They do not rely on pain for results. The current cannot pass to your body thru the target.
This awesome self defense tool is great for women's self defense and comes with
2 Lithium batteries (included) and a FREE leather belt holster ($15.00 Value) designed to allow quick access and deployment of this amazing stun weapon.
Police agencies the world over use many of them. Why shouldn't you? If you are in the market for a self defense product look for quality, effectiveness, and a biggie-LEGALITY.
Stun guns are not legal in some states. Check with your local police department first before you get one. The Knuckle Blaster stun gun is one of the most powerful out there.

Does anyone know how to narrow a long sleeve on a dress from a pattern?
The sleeve is originally supposed to be a little flared, but I want to make it so that the sleeve is just like a regular long sleeved shirt-just straight. If you would need to see the original dress, it's from a McCall's Pattern M5736 Dress C. Thanks!
Well, I would just use a ruler between the area before the flare, down to where you want the wrist to be. Just have to make sure you leave room for a seam allowance at the wrist, and of course your hand can fit into the wrist.

There must be times when one of your home appliances does not operate properly and your dishwasher is no exception. When it is the case, then there are some parts that you can first check to find out where the trouble source is. Before you do all below checking, you have to make sure to unplug the power supply for safety reason. Here are the parts of dishwasher that you can check yourself:
1. Check the power supply of your dishwasher. Does the power supply reach the dishwasher? When there are some problems with the fuse or circuit breaker, then no power will reach the dishwasher and as the result, it will not work at all. Therefore, you need to replace the broken fuse or circuit breaker.
2. Check on the door switch. The door switch is the main connector of power supply to the machine. Therefore, there must be no defect in the door switch at all in order the dishwasher to operate properly. You can detect any defect of the switch by removing the cover of control panel
3. Check on the wiring. When your dishwasher is quite old, then it is likely that the wiring system is already fragile. It means that the wire can be easily burnt up and then obstruct the connection. If the problem is indeed from the fragile wiring, then you need to change the whole wiring system in your dishwasher as well as the connectors.
4. The problem can also be from dishwasher selector and timer switches. The only alternative if they are broken is replacing them with the new ones, because such devices are not repairable.
5. The water on dishwasher inlet regular can also be the source of problem. One thing to indicate the defect is if the water supply to the dishwasher is not sufficient so that the machine cannot clean up the dishes thoroughly. Another indication to this defect is the knocking sound from the dishwasher called as "water hammer". You can find these regulators on the left of the lower panel, consisting of a rubber tube with 2 wires and is connected to the water supply. If it is true that here is the problem, then replacing the whole regulators is the only thing you can do.
6. Check on the float switch. Every dishwasher always has float switches used to prevent water overflows. This device is from plastic material that will rise in accordance to the water level. If the float switches are stuck and are not in accordance with water level, then it is the obvious sign to repair or even replace the switches.
7. Check on the internal filter. You will find a filter in your dishwasher to prevent any rubbish or food particles entering the pump circulation. When the filter is dirty or getting blocked with some rubbish or food particles, your dishwasher might not wash the dishes thoroughly. It means that you have to clean up the filter. It is a very easy thing to do. If you keep the manual, you can find further instructions on how to clean up the filter properly. However, the latest models generally come with automatic self-cleaning features so that you do not bother to clean the filter manually.
Above are some troubleshooting tips for your dishwasher in case they get stuck and cannot operate properly. They are actually quite easy to do, but if you are too sure about it, you can just call a technician to have the repair done.
I have a 4 gauge power wire running through my suv for my amplifier. I was wondering what type of fuse i would need and how i would go about installing the fuse.
i was also wondering if, i were to get a a fuse block thing straight from the battery, would i still need the 20 gauge wire with the little fuse holder?
Typically a 60amp inline fuse is what is in most vehicle systems which have aftermarket systems, what you'll do is place it about 8 - 10 inches away from the battery but no farther then 12" away and it will go on the main 4 gauge power wire running to your amplifier.
Most amplifiers will have 2 30amp fuses on them already which is why most use a 60 amp fuse by the batter if your amp has lets say 2 20 amp fuses in it then you will probably only need to go with a 40 amp inline fuse.

Are white collar crime & blue collar crime treated equally? - By David Jenson
Hillary Transue was a good student with a clean record, so she never imagined she'd hear a judge sentence her to three months in juvenile detention. What heinous act did this young Bonnie Parker do to invoke the court's wrath? The 15-year-old merely spoofed her assistant principal on MySpace. (If Skinner only knew it could be that easy to lock up Bart Simpson.)
Tragically, this is not an isolated incident. In this particular Pennsylvania county, a 14-year-old got nine months for lifting change from unlocked cars and a 13-year-old got put away for trespassing in an empty building. What did all these delinquents have in common? Judges Michael Conahan and Mark Ciavarella sentenced them and about 5,000 other teens in a scam involving cash for kids.
The scheme dates back to 2002, when Conahan exercised his judicial authority to shut down the government-run youth facility and use tax dollars to redirect teens to privately owned detention centers. For their efforts, the judges received $2.6 million in kickbacks. While it's hard to believe that Alberto Gonzales never tapped these guys for DOJ, it's even more remarkable how little time the judges will serve. The total time served by the kids they sentenced could add up to centuries, but Conahan and Ciavarella will serve only 87 months in federal prison. Mid Atlantic Youth Services, who own and operate the centers, face no punishment at all.
When the government hires Halliburton to build prisons and spends nearly $50 billion a year on corrections, it's no surprise that America incarcerates the highest percentage of its citizens. While these numbers are ridiculously high, white-collar criminals like these two judges make up just a fraction of the inmates.
Many researchers have argued that there's a double standard when it comes to white-collar crimes. Socially upward criminals are wealthier and more connected, and they can hire the best lawyers and preemptively influence lawmakers to imploring focus on street crimes. That's why a whistleblower like Harry Markopolos can spend a decade the SEC to stop Bernie Madoff, and the government acted only after the loss of tens of billions of dollars. Maybe he'd have gotten a quicker response if he reported two guys trying to get married or a 13-year-old file-sharing the new Metallica album.
I am not suggesting that we pardon the people who steal our cars or break into our homes, but we should treat the inside trader who stole $100,000 from shareholders with the same scales of justice as the guy who steals your wallet.
Consider the recent cast of villains. There's Allen Stanford (the Texas billionaire who allegedly crafted his own Ponzi scheme), Enron's Ken Lay, former senator Ted Stevens, lobbyist Jack Abramoff and former governor Rod Blagojevich. Even with something as tragic as Hurricane Katrina, there were countless dirt bags juicing FEMA with fake charges and pocketing money that was raised for victims.
For every white-collar crime, there are also ethically gray acts that technically don't break any laws. Richard Fuld helped drive Lehman Brothers into the ground as he raked in nearly $500,000,000. While that's merely a moral crime, selling his $14 million house to his wife for $100 might be something more. There's also the military analysts on cable news networks that supported the war without disclosing they're lobbyists for contractors that ultimately made out like bandits. Sadly, the spotlight has even turned to nonprofit companies.
In a study of nearly 500 nonprofit hospitals, the IRS discovered that top executives make nearly $500,000 year, while 20 of these so-called nonprofit execs make nearly $1.5 million. Gloria King of the United Way of Central Carolinas rakes in about $1.2 million as the Chief Executive, and she's just one of eight charity-based execs making seven figures. According to Charity Navigator, there are over a hundred others making $500,000-plus.
In the late 19th Century, the Gilded Age started during Reconstruction as wealth rocketed to the top with help from questionable politicians (e.g. Boss Tweed) and financial manipulations. This era, featuring opulent wealth displays by the upper class, eventually led to the Panic of 1893, when the railroad bubble burst and a credit crisis sunk the country into an economic depression. It certainly sounds familiar (except that the 1890s crisis ironically gave tax-raising Republicans a landslide victory over the free market Democrats).
Today, America has its own panic. While there is much to be done, there's a populist outcry for a level playing field. America needs to prosecute criminals regardless of their social status and political contributions and enforce white-collar crimes with the same zeal that they tackle blue-collar offenses. Whether it's Ponzi schemers or corrupt judges, there needs to be real enforcement and punishment for financial misdeeds. The white collars need to become too afraid to take the risks.
America has the honor of being history's great democracy where all men are created equal. To continue fulfilling that promise, we must shake off the shackles that bind Lady Liberty's hands and truly start treating all men equally.

How can I make my blue-gray eyes stand out?
I'm just looking for new tricks.
I have fairly pale skin (light freckles), short reddish brown hair
and blue-gray eyes.
Your eyes are gorgeous already
here is some tips to make it pop
# Blue eyes light up in the company of bronzy browns. If you do only one thing, you should smear GRACE by Stila on your lids and smudge a little extra on your lower lashline. I mean, of course you then finish with mascara--I'm not retarded.
# For more drama, use the same technique as step 2, but with a dark, coppery/brown color. But this time, pair that with a dark copper eyeliner. I love Brown Copper by Laura Mercier. Flip your upper eyelid sort of inside out and smear the color at the very base of your lashes.
# A really navy blue mascara, juxtaposed with your bronzy lid, will not only make your eyes incredibly blue, but will make your eyes appear whiter.
# Stay away from black liner--it just looks like eyeliner. Nothing about it will actually complement your eye color. If you really want a dramatic smoky thing, even a rich grey is better.

Did the Divorce affect Your Credit Score? Not sure? It’s time to Check…NOW
Are you recently divorced or divorced for a while? Rebuilding or continuing your credit after divorce may not seem like a priority right now, especially if you're still healing from your marriage ending. If you eventually want to obtain credit cards in your name, finance a vehicle or home, and even begin a new job, you need to make sure that you have a good CREDIT SCORE. Why? Your Credit Score will affect your ability to get a loan, rent a house, or get hired for that job. You have to have the highest Credit Score possible for where you are today.
Following are my top Pre and Post Divorce Credit Repair Score Tips
Cancel all joint credit card accounts from your marriage. This will safeguard your credit record in case your ex-husband decides to use them. If the debts are in both of your names, it will remain a liability to you until they're paid off.
All accounts you had while using your husband's surname should be changed to the name you are using now. This will help to rebuild your Credit Score.
Begin to start a personal relationship with a bank and banker of your choice that you did not do business with while married. Open a new account or maybe a small CD.
Quickly establish accounts in your name, so you can begin to rebuild your credit.
These are the exact ones I utilize when I coach my private Credit Score Clients.
Step 1.
What’s Your Credit Score Today?
Order a copy of your credit reports. Make sure to get a copy from the top 3 Credit Bureau Providers as information varies greatly. Make sure all the information is correct on YOU and that the division of debts is accurately reflected.
If there are errors on your report, you may want to contact a reputable Credit Repair Firm to assist you with this because it can be a challenge at times. If you want to do it yourself, contact all the creditors and the bureaus and supply them with the proof they request. After all the correcting and updating is completed, order your report again in 3 months to ensure that everything is being reported correctly and nothing has re-appeared. (It happens frequently)
Step 2.
Do You have your own Credit Score? If not, Establish Credit In Your Own Name.
If you do great! Continue to build a good Credit Score. You can follow my tips from below.
If you don't have a Credit Score established in your own name, begin rebuilding today. Now is the time to get started.
You might not qualify for a major credit card right now, that’s ok. You might want to consider applying for a store credit card or a gas credit card. If you're approved, charge a small amount monthly and pay it in full on time. Now you are beginning to build a great Credit Score.
Another way to start building an outstanding Credit Score in your own name is by applying for a secured credit card or taking out a small loan at a bank, and using an asset or your savings as collateral. The same applies here, make your payments on time every month and do not carry any balances in your rebuilding phase. You will begin to build a consistent credit history, which will increase your Credit Score and make it easier to be approved for unsecured credit in the future.
Step 3.
Make Your Payments On Time
Your Great Credit Score is built on longevity of timely payments so, the longer you pay your bills on time, the higher your score will be.
Money can be scarce after divorce or at any time, and sometimes you will have to juggle your bill payments.
Following are my personal recommendations for the order in which to pay your bills:
Mortgage or Rent payments
This is one of the heaviest weighted items in the scoring algorithm. So, make sure you make these payments on time or your Credit Score will suffer greatly.
Car, Motorcycle, Boat etc. Loans
If you depend on your car for various activities, keep these payments current. If not, you run the risk of it being repossessed.
Credit Cards
You want to pay these in full or make the minimum payment by the due date. Credit Card accounts are now (in allot of cases) being reported after they are 5 days late. This will also keep your interest rates from rising and help you avoid late fees.
Utility Bills
You will want to pay the minimum required to make sure your utility services continue. Reconsider what utilities you have. If you need to cutback, cable and land line phones are always an option to cut out.
Health and Auto Insurance Premiums
If you have an auto many states require auto insurance, this is a bill you need to make sure gets paid. With Health Insurance, you might want to raise your deductible to lower your monthly premium.
Secured Debts
Beware of these. If they don't get paid, the creditor can repossess the asset that was used to secure the loan. If you absolutely can't make the payment, you need to see if you can give the asset to the creditor without it hurting your credit.
Unsecured Debts
These include all other debts. Like, to your attorney, doctor, hospital, and any other service provider or professionals. Most often, as long as you pay a small amount monthly, these accounts will be fine. If you absolutely can't make that months payment, contact them and usually they will work something out with you.
Step 4.
Pay Down Your Debts
A high debt ratio hurts your credit score. The most effective way to improve your score is by not carrying a balance or paying down your debts.

The necktie (or tie) is a long piece of cloth worn around the neck, resting under the shirt collar and knotted at the throat. The modern necktie, ascot, and bow tie are descended from the cravat. Men wear neckties as part of regular office attire or formal wear. Neckties can also be worn as part of a uniform (e.g. military, school, waitstaff). Neck ties are generally unsized, but may be available in longer size.
Variants include the bow tie, ascot tie, bola tie, and the clip-on tie.
summer productRegardless of the fact that the definition of the necktie in most dictionaries states "a large band of fabric worn around the neck under the collar and tied in front with the ends hanging down as a decoration", its history says a lot more. Men have always found it necessary to tie something around their necks. The earliest historical example is in ancient Egypt. The rectangular piece of cloth that was tied and hung down till the shoulders was a very important part of an Egyptian?? clothing because it showed his social status. In China, all the statues around the grave of Emperor Shi Huang Ti bear a piece of cloth around their necks, which is considered an ancestor of the modern necktie. In art from the Roman Empire, men are also depicted bearing neckwear that much resembles the contemporary necktie.
Croatia is often considered as the mother country of the modern necktie but archaeological evidence of the use of neckties goes back to the Chinese and the Romans almost two millenniums back.
The necktie can be traced back to the time of the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648) when Croatian mercenaries in French service, wearing their traditional small, knotted neckerchiefs, aroused the interest of the Parisians.[1] The new article of clothing started a fashion craze in Europe where both men and women wore pieces of fabric around their necks. In the late seventeenth century, the men wore lace cravats that took a large amount of time and effort to arrange. These cravats were often tied in place by cravat strings, arranged neatly and tied in a bow.
The Battle of Steenkerque took place in 1692. In this battle, the princes, while hurriedly dressing for battle, just wound these cravats around their necks. They twisted the ends of the fabric together and passed the twisted ends through a jacket buttonhole. These cravats were generally referred to as Steinkirks.
In 1715, another kind of neckwear, called "Stocks" made its appearance. Stocks were initially just a small piece of muslin folded into a narrow band wound a few times round the shirt collar and secured from behind with a pin. It was fashionable for the men to wear their hair long, past shoulder length. The ends were tucked into a black silk bag worn at the nape of the neck. This was known as the bag-wig hairstyle, and the neckwear worn with it was the stock.
A variation of the bag wig would be the solitaire. This form had matching ribbons stitched around the bag. After the stock was in place, the ribbons would be brought forward and tied in a large bow in front of the wearer.
Sometime in the late eighteenth century, cravats began to make an appearance again. This can be attributed to a group of young men called the maccaronis (of Yankee Doodle fame). These were young Englishmen who returned from Europe and brought with them new ideas about fashion from Italy. The French contemporaries of the maccaronis were the Incroyables.
At this time, there was also much interest in the way to tie a proper cravat and this led to a series of publications. This began with Neckclothitania, which is a book that contained instructions and illustrations on how to tie 14 different cravats. It was also the first book to use the word ??ie??in association with neckwear.
It was about this time that black stocks made their appearance. Their popularity eclipsed the white Cravat, except for formal and evening wear. These remained popular through to the 1850s. At this time, another form of neckwear worn was the scarf. This was where a neckerchief or bandanna was held in place by slipping the ends through a finger or scarf ring at the neck instead of using a knot. This is the classic sailor neckwear and may have been adopted from them.
The industrial revolution created a need for neckwear that was easy to put on, comfortable and would last an entire workday. The modern necktie, as is still worn by millions of men today, was born. It was long, thin and easy to knot and it didn come undone.
The English called it the our in handbecause the knot resembled the reins of the four horse carriage used by the British upper class. By this time, the sometimes complicated array of knots and styles of neckwear gave way to the neckties and bow ties, the latter a much smaller, more convenient version of the cravat. In formal dinner parties and when attending races, another type of neckwear was considered de rigueur; this was the Ascot tie, which had wide flaps that were crossed and pinned together on the chest.
This was until 1926, when a New York tie maker, Jesse Langsdorf came up with a method of cutting the fabric on the bias and sewing it in three segments. This technique improved elasticity and facilitated the fabric's return to its original shape. Since that time, most men have worn the angsdorftie. Yet another development of that time was the method used to secure the lining and interlining once the tie had been folded into shape. Richard Atkinson and Company of Belfast claim to have introduced the slipstitch for this purpose in the late 1920s.
After the First World War, hand-painted ties became an accepted form of decoration in America. The widths of some of these ties went up to 4.5 inches (110 mm). These loud, flamboyant ties sold very well all the way through the 1950s.
In Britain, Regimental stripes have been continuously used in tie designs since the 1920s. Traditionally, English stripes ran from the left shoulder down to the right side; however, when Brooks Brothers introduced the striped ties in the United States around the beginning of the 20th century, they had theirs cut in the opposite direction.
Before the Second World War ties were worn shorter as well as wider than they are today; although in Britain in the 1970s short and wide ties (known as 'Kipper ties') became fashionable for a few years.
The 1960s brought about an influx of pop art influenced designs. The first was designed by Michael Fish when he worked at Turnbull & Asser. The term kipper was a pun on his name. The exuberance of the styles of the late 1960s and early 1970s gradually gave way to more restrained designs. Ties became narrower, returning to their 2-3 inch width with subdued colors and motifs, traditional designs of the 1930s and 1950s reappeared, particularly Paisley patterns. Ties began to be sold along with shirts and designers slowly began to experiment with bolder colors.
This continued in the 1980s, when very narrow ties approximately 1 inch wide became popular. Into the 1990s, increasingly unusual designs became common, such as joke ties or deliberately kitsch ties designed to make a statement. These included ties featuring cartoon characters or made of unusual materials such as plastic or wood.
In 1660, in celebration of its hard-fought victory over the Ottoman Empire, a crack regiment from Croatia visited Paris. There, the soldiers were presented as glorious heroes to Louis XIV, a monarch well known for his eye toward personal adornment. It so happened that the officers of this regiment were wearing brightly colored handkerchiefs fashioned of silk around their necks. These neck cloths struck the fancy of the king, and he soon made them an insignia of royalty as he created a regiment of Royal Cravattes. The word "cravat" is derived from the "a la croate" - like the Croats (wear them).
The four-in-hand necktie (as distinct from the four-in-hand knot) was fashionable in Great Britain in the 1850s. Early neckties were simple, rectangular cloth strips cut on the square, with square ends. The term "four-in-hand" originally described a carriage with four horses and a driver; later, it also was the name of a London gentlemen's club. Some etymologic reports are that carriage drivers knotted their reins with a four-in-hand knot (see below), whilst others claim the carriage drivers wore their scarves knotted 'four-in-hand', but, most likely, members of the club began wearing their neckties so knotted, thus making it fashionable. In the latter half of the 19th century, the four-in-hand knot and the four-in-hand necktie were synonymous. As fashion changed from stiff shirt collars to soft, turned-down collars, the four-in-hand necktie knot gained popularity; its sartorial dominance rendered the term "four-in-hand" redundant usage, shortened "long tie" and "tie".
In 1926, Jesse Langsdorf from New York introduced ties cut on the bias (US) or cross-grain (UK), allowing the tie to evenly fall from the knot without twisting; this also caused any woven pattern such as stripes to appear diagonally across the tie.
Today, four-in-hand ties are part of men's formal clothing in both Western and non-Western societies, particularly for business.
Four-in-hand ties are generally made from silk, cotton, polyester or, common before World War II but not as popular nowadays, wool. They appear in a very wide variety of colours and patterns, notably striped (often diagonally), club ties (often with a small motif repeated regularly all over the tie) and solids. "Novelty ties" featuring icons from popular culture (such as cartoons, actors, holiday images), sometimes with flashing lights, have been quite prevalent since the 1990s, as have paisley ties.
The sevenfold tie is a construction variant of the four-in-hand necktie revived after the austerity of the Great Depression.[citation needed] A square yard of silk (usually two or more pieces sewn together) is folded to seven sections of silk between the folds. Its weight and body derive exclusively from the layering of silk. It can require an hour or more to construct.
There are newly designed spinoffs to sevenfold ties, often referred to as four folds, or lined seven folds. These imposters frequently have the folds of the silk ending halfway through the middle of the inside of the tie. These ties, while very thick, are essentially the same as regular lined ties, with the exception of the decorative origami like folds at the ends of the tie. They are most easily identified by the bottom square, the part of the back of the tie that hangs in front of the belt, which is not one single sheet of silk-normally the introverted pattern is exposed-but is two pieces of the silk with the liner in between. In contrast to authentic sevenfolds, these ties' heft and body are derived by the weight of created by the folding of the silk upon itelf. These other "seven-fold ties" are also referred to as Six-fold ties. They are typically self-tipped and lined. These are historically Italian made, although they are increasingly being made elsewhere. For this reason, they are often referrd to as being "Italian style", while the sevenfold tie is usually untipped, unlined and is the "American style". The Talbott (Robert) Family is often credited with bringing back the sevenfold design which was almost lost as a result of the 1920s era depression. It was much more expensive to make a tie completely of silk, so the lined tie with other tiping fabric was born. The classic sevenfold tie has no interfacing (interlining) of any kind yet drapes beautifully due to the weight derived from the precise folding of the silk upon itself. Generally a medium weight, 25-30mm, silk is best used for creating one of these truly handmade ties.
The clip-on necktie is permanently knotted bow tie or four-in-hand style affixed with a metal clip to the front of the shirt collar. This 20th-century innovation is considered by some to be stylistically inferior, but may be considered appropriate by some for wear in occupations (e.g., law enforcement, service clerks, airline pilots, etc.) where a traditional necktie could pose a safety hazard. Clip-on ties are also the most common form of child-sized ties.

Why don't deep focus earthquakes occur at divergent plate boundaries?
I know they occur at subduction zones, but why not at divergent plat boundaries?
To get a deep focus earthquake you need two (or more) plates either pushing forcefully together or scraping past one another. They push and strain until they shatter. Boom. The only place that happens is at a convergent boundary.
At a divergent boundary the plates are drawing apart, not pushing together. Shallow quakes can occur as pressure is equalized in the spreading sea floor, but the act of pulling the crust apart serves to decrease pressure, not increase it. No pressure, no large, deep earthquake.
